Outside The Camp_____Kevin Rae.

Hebrews 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

The above scripture verse reminds me of the time when I had to make a decision of either to stay with an apostate church and take it in the neck whatever they dished out over Bible doctrine issues, or be without camp.  As a family, the decision was unanimous, and glad to say, we chose the latter.

To this day, we are thankful and continue to praise our Lord God in the direction of the path that is laid before us.

May our Lord bless those who are embarking on that same path with encouragement and sustaining.  Proverbs 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

 Psalms 138:8  The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: …

 Psalms 18:32  It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

Glory be to GOD.

Amen.

This thesis will show to you why we are to be without the camp, what the camp is, and is not, who is in the camp and who is not. Please remember that it is the Holy Spirit that reveals the truth ( 1 John 2:27 ) through HIS word and not man . Prayerfully and with readiness of mind have an open KJV bible and search the scriptures (Acts 17:11)

 Hebrews 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

 The author of the book of Hebrews is the Apostle Paul ( Heb13:23). Paul is writing to his kinsmen, the Hebrews (Rom 9:3).

Hebrews 13:13 spans the whole of the church age and beyond into the tribulation. We know this because Paul includes the term “us” in the verse, “let us go forth” is a progressive command to the believer of any age whither it be 100AD or 2007AD. We have always to move forward toward our Lord Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ JesusWe are to be conformed to his image, regardless of whither it’s voluntary or with us screaming and shouting and kicking our heels up.  Romans 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Here the Christian is between the Rock ( 1 Cor 10:4 ) and a hard place ( Luke 20:18  Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. )  Bearing his reproach separates the God fearing child of God from the lip service folks. Isaiah 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

As the world tries to get along with the world, ecumenicalism has no interest in obedience to God’s word.  It would be safe to say that the church apostasy has overruled the actual truth of God’s word, and taken heed to what men say.

 Where and what is the camp?

 Mans’ hope is in unity with man and always excludes God. Genesis 11:4  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. They are still striving for this unity even today.  Listening to any politician anywhere in the world talk their double talk would only confirm this.

 The same thing happened in Moses’ time, the camp is where the fellowship of man is (Deuteronomy 29:11  Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:)  It’s also where the protection of the masses are, for instance – safety in numbers and the love of brethren (Numbers chapter 10). Whither it be false love or not as there is no true love outside the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.  Exodus 32:6  And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play. In the dark ages, the people came inside the castle walls for safety and fellowshipped. The church is the very same, the people flock to the majority of what the township support, whither they are right or wrong, whither they follow the idol shepherd ( Zech 11:17 ) or the chief Shepherd ( 1 Pet 5:4 ). It’s still down to the same old thing, man craves unity with man regardless of God. God is always second best despite the first commandment.( Exodus 20:3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.)

 In the New Testament the church was called out from the multitude (Acts 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.) The camp is no longer concerning the Nation of Israel, but is now of every tongue, tribe and nation.( Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.)   So when the church being the camp, and we are to be in fellowship one with another; then why does Paul want us to be outside the camp?  That question is simple to answer as in this church age you would only have to look where the Lord Jesus is standing in this present time (Revelation 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.). God’s rightful place is guiding those in the camp unto righteousness from the Throne, but as it was with the Pharisees who wouldn’t tolerate Jesus to be King, the same is with the majority of Christians who will not tolerate the full council of God. So it is little wonder that our Lord is calling from OUTSIDE the door.  Therefore, if we are to go forth unto him. ( Heb13:13) and He is outside the door of the church, we also should be on the outside of the door. 2 Corinthians 6:17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Revelation 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Our example is Moses, who asks the question  “Who is on the LORD’S side?”

Exodus 32:26  Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

According to scripture, we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, (2Co 6:14) but we are to be IN the world and not OF the world. (John 15:19  If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.) (John 17:14, 16). ( 2 Peter 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.) However, it can be so easy to super separate ourselves from fellow believers in the cause of doctrine and unbelief and then take up fellowship with this present world, so beware! The devil has been around for a very long time and is so very easy for him to beguile a person into a lovey dovey state of feelings, thus the entrapment of ecumenicalism. Then before you know it, your whole course of doctrine changes, and you’re giving heed to seducing spirits. Then you will find that your conscience is seared and your heart  hardened to those who do not compromise the word of God, thus being those folks the ones who are without the camp.

1 Timothy 4:1-2  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

 But a BIG problem is that all claim to be outside the camp (ie)  JW’S, Mormons, Catholics, Charismatics … and all CLAIM to be the true church in fellowship with God. John 10:27 defines those who are without the camp.  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

However, it will come to pass that our Lord will separate the wheat from the chaff (Lu 3:17)

Furthermore, we are to try the spirits.  1 John 4:1  Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world Like the Bereans we are to search the scriptures  Acts 17:11   These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were soOff the cuff, do you really think the Bereans had the originals or just copies? Trust the King James Bible as God will burn the other versions in the fire 2 Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. The cults all have one thing in common and that is adding to and taking away from the word of God, ever twisting the scripture. 2 Peter 3:16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Throughout history the world has always tried to encroach the church, and it has always eventually succeeded; but through these victories of Satan, schisms take place as the bold and new frontiers open up to the gospel. (Acts 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.)

What’s in the camp. Exodus 32:17-19  And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.  And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

A very good description of the church of today don’t you think? The noise of them that sing cannot be describing “psalms and hymns” and making melody and praise unto God with reverence; but instead rock and rap songs of the world or making fleshy choruses unto yourself to make yourself feel better and more holy, where the whole congregation feels so moved with self emotion and feels so much love one to another, that they are so overwhelmed with loving mankind and deluded in thinking  that God could not judge anyone but can only love them. With all the love flowing, they commit sacrilege and have made God perverted! They now have to produce a Bible to fit their new found love and hey presto! It’s the church of today!  We have the cults mentioned here also, that he saw the calf,that will take care of the cat-holics, hindus, mormons with their idol worshiping. This will also take care of the jw’s and the muslims because they are worshiping the wrong God which is the calf, the god of this world. The pagans don’t escape the verse either because of “the dancing “. So we might as well offend the fleshy religions of this world as well, ie the African witch doctors and voodoo, charismatics etc.

If anyone has there own private revelation from a so called prophet (Acts 13:6), ie. Joe Smith, Mohammed, make haste and flee from them!!

Acts 13:10  And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

What’s outside the camp? Well, for a start – dung, …( Leviticus 8:17 ), disease…( Lev 14:3 ). It is where the sin offering is finished with… Exodus 29:14  But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shalt thou burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.

Nobody really wants to be on the outside, it’s where the city rubbish goes, and where the industrial areas are located. All the unpleasantness is situated there. Some people prefer to be outwith the city and be outside the unpleasant places as well. They do not want to bear reproach while being outside the camp.  The full counsel of God needs be sought (Acts 20:27  For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.), One cannot cut oneself off and be super separated from everyone and still be a soldier of Christ. You must be in there and put the mixers in for a few rounds with the great unwashed.  By the way, it’s much in the same way as salvation when you do not apply the full council of God, Roman Catholics believe Christ died and rose again the third day, BUT NOT ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES ( 1 Cor 15:3,4 ). They have chosen to reject the written word of the King [ James & JESUS] ( Luke 7:30  But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, …..) , and replaced it with mans word of tradition instead ( Mark 7:9  And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.) and lauded it.

 The Lord Jesus was offered up as THE sin offering for us and hung on a tree outside the gate. Hebrews 13:12  Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

God’s true place is with those who would seek him other than the fellowship of man. (Exodus 33:7  And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.)  God always wants man to go outside the camp and go forth unto Him.

 The only time the saints are to be in the camp is when the Lord Jesus Christ is there. (Revelation 20:9  And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.).

 So how do we find out where we are?  In the camp?  or  Outside the door?  The only factor that can tell you is in God’s Holy Writ. Find out the truth. John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  John 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Let’s go to God’s word to find the examples of those who are and who are not bearing reproach .

 What was the Lord Jesus Christ’s reproach?

He suffered and died in our place.

 He was outside the gate.

He was a curse for our sake.

He was rejected of men.

He was forsaken and smitten of God.

He was a reproach of men.

 Psalms 22:6-8  But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,  He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

Psalms 69:7-9  Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother’s children. For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

Matthew 27:28  And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

Lamentations 3:30  He giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach.

Here are some words the Lord associates with the word “reproach”,

 Despised ( Ne 4:4)

Scorn and derision (Psa 44:13)

Taunt and a curse (Jer 24:9 )

Hissing ( Jer 29:18 )

An execration (Jer 42:18 )

 Our Lord God Almighty took that reproach and nailed it to the tree.

Who did not suffer the reproach that the Lord Jesus fore took?

 Pharisees, scribes, those that take the mark of the beast, Balaam…etc

 The Lord was unlike the Pharasees and Saducees and scribes etc,

HE did not fit in with the ‘in- crowd’.  If anything, he rebuked those high minded and self righteous leaders calling them ‘vipers’ !

Luke 20:46  Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;

Matthew 3:7 O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

The disciples didn’t fit in with the ‘in-crowd’ either!  They, like us today are to bear our cross

Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

 Who bore the reproach?

 Bearing his reproach is a very lonely position and being outside the Camp is a lonely place. Labelled as an outcast outside the camp is a place to be despised and rejected and to suffer shame.  It also points all the way to Calvary! Psalms 69:9  For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.

The “me” of the above passage is the Lord Jesus. The Lord said “nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” when the hour of shadows approached just prior to Calvary.

 Mount Moriah was a lonely place for Abraham and Isaac one time. You will find that account in Genesis 22:1-13.

 The prophet Jeremiah knew the lonely place. Jeremiah 15:16-17  Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.  I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of thy hand: for thou hast filled me with indignation.

 King David knew loneliness outside the camp Psalm 102:6-8  I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

 And of course John the beloved was exiled to Patmos  Rev 1:9     I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

 Even the twelve disciples were outside the fellowship of their fellow Jews, they were outside the fellowship of the other disciples of Christ. ( Matthew 16:18  And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.).

( John 6:66-68  From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.)

Peter and the eleven disciples had a choice either to continue his walk with Christ or depart with the rest of the disciples. They chose to stay and take the reproach of the majority.

It is the Lord’s will that we bear his reproach. 2 Timothy 2:11-12  It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

 2 Corinthians 6:17  Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

 Revelation 18:4  And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

 Exodus 32:26  Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

 Acts 5:41  And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

Church Instituted

 The Lord instituted the church upon the earth, Acts 2:47  Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.  with instruction from the word to fellowship.

Hebrews 10:23-25  Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

 Many people attend a church building as an outward show of good works, showing themselves to be pious.  While others attend church for a social gathering depending who’s speaking, or for a sale of works function.  For others, it is a place where ‘inside crowd’ have no desire to obey, worship or praise God.  These people like to hear themselves speak!

The ecumenical movement sets the pace for most worship today.  Evidently so,  the devil is behind ecumenicalism. ‘Tis true to say that  there won’t be any peace on this earth until the Lord comes back, and even then he will rule with a rod of Iron!

Revelation 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron;

The worldly church and the churchy world are together inside the camp.

 Throughout the church age Christians have been persecuted, alienated, and have succumbed to the wiles of the devil in various degrees. (Ephesians 6:11)

By far, the best time for Christian fellowship has been the Philadelphia church age. The worst is the Laodicean church age which we are in now.  This is not to say that any one age is harder for the individual than any other age; but all ages have been testing for different reasons.

Today is a time for us to go forth unto him; Hebrews 13:13 the ‘him’ is the Lord Jesus of verse 12.  The Lord Jesus is without the gate and we are told to do likewise and go forth unto him without the gate.  Our fellowship is to be with those who are like minded.

 The scriptures of the KJV1611 tell us to be separate from apostasy, backsliders, compromisers, and heretics. (statements like these extremely annoy the ecumenicals), it is little wonder that they wrote new scriptures to hide themselves.)

2Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

 Amos 3:3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Can a Bible believing Christian walk with a Bible perverting ” Fundamentalist”? No he can’t, but he can still love him and pray for him.  Any part of ‘walking’ with him is out of the question except they be agreed”

 A Bible believing non- conformist uniting with the the Bible destroying cultist there is a lesson to be had – that you can tie a big mouthed  contentious cat together with a pit bull terrier to achieve “union” but it is sure there won’t be any ” unity”. ” Union” and “Unity” are not the same word!

 Hebrews 7:26  For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

 It’s funny how all those who pretend to be humble, Christ-like, holier than thou type religionists, always prefer Christ in a manger, and prefer Christ to be totally forgiving of everything all the time. They tend to have delusions of Him never condemning anyone.  They prefer the original Greek, misquoting the scriptures to excuse their own sinful natures.

 For example :-

 1 Jesus Christ partied in the boozer with the good old boys (Luke 5:30 ) so its alright for me to party like those worldly folks in this present world .

2 Jesus Christ loved the world so he would never condemn it, ( John 3:16), so its alright for me to love this present world and not condemn it.

3 We have to get on with everyone because Jesus said to love one another ( John 13:34 ) so lets not condemn anyone or anything.

 Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

 1   Jesus Christ partied in the boozer with the good old boys (Luke 5:30 ) so its alright for me to party like those worldly folks in this present world .

Jesus was with sinners due to his calling – Luke 5:32  I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

 Luke 15:1-2   Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them. The Lord was with the sinners to proclaim the good news and to witness to them.  He wasn’t there with them for the sake of fellowship!  On the contrary, the Lord Jesus wanted to be with his friends. John 15:15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

 Luke 22:15  And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

So, unless one can preach the Gospel message in the lions den with all the lions about to feast on you; separate yourself from these worldlies and stand on neutral ground to do battle.

2  Jesus Christ loved the world so he would never condemn it, ( John 3:16), so its alright for me to love this present world and not condemn it. This is nothing but a perverted gospel, God loved the world, (past tense). Jesus Christ died for the world, but he has condemned the world already.- 1 John 2:15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

He didn’t even pray for the world – John 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

To be of the world it will require ‘ Conformity’.  The Lord Jesus Christ was separate from sinners  For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Hebrews 7:26

 He also makes it clear that he was not of this world  I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. John 17:14

And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.  John 8:23

Jesus Christ loved the world enough to die for us, we who deserve hell, but his love was not in a way that would bring him down to conform or condone our sins.  Remember, he was without sin And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1John 3:5

3 We have to get on with everyone because Jesus said to love one another ( John 13:34 ) so lets not condemn anyone or anything.  We as born again Bible believing children of God, MUST NOT give the world the impression that we are their friends.   Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.  James 4:4

We are to love the brethren, NOT  the world!

Ambassadors for Christ

 If we are to commune with the Lord, we cannot get tied up in worldly affairs, or allow ourselves to be rocked to sleep into apostasy.  We would go forth unto him ‘without camp’ bearing his reproach.  There are far too many churches in with the world today!  Ecumenicalism is rife throughout the world!  Our conversation is in heaven, this world is not our home.  We have a commission while passing through this wilderness as ambassadors for Christ.  It is our calling to get the gospel to the lost souls in this land.  They are in need of the gospel as much as we were!

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; Philippians 3:8-10

 Go forth unto Him

 The fully inspired preserved word of God namely the “King James Bible” tell us what to expect when we take our cross and go forth unto him.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  1Peter 4:12-14

Outside the camp brings heartache and sorrow  but WITHOUT REGRET!

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;  2Corinthians 4:17  You see, we can relate to these things this material speaks of, we have came through the refiners fire and will continue to go through them until we see that  BLESSED HOPE face to face.

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  Titus 2:13

 Warfare

 Everyday is a spiritual warfare, but no despair. Admittedly, there are times when the battles run us into mental and emotional strain, but as the Apostle Paul says

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 2Corinthians 4:8

God gives us his strength and sustains us, afterall the battle is his.  Many a time our Lord has used saved and lost people that we know and don’t know to uplift and encourage us. HIS timing is PERFECT.

He was in the fire with Meshach, Shadrach and Abed-nego, and when we are tried, He’s with us too!

No joy excels the joy of being soldiers of the cross.

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.  2Timothy 2:4

 Philippians 3:15  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

 Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 Psalms 107:4  They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

There has been many a time I have heard my wife sing this song as a way of comfort and cheer to her and those around. The lyrics speak for itself.

It Will be Worth it All

Oft times the day seems long,
Our trials hard to bear;
We’re tempted to complain,
To murmur and despair.
But Christ will soon appear
To catch His bride away;
All tears forever over,
In God’s eternal day.

Chorus:
It will be worth it all when we see Jesus;
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ.
One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Sometimes the sky looks dark
With not a ray of light;
We’re tossed and driven on,
No human help in sight.
But there’s one in heaven
Who knows our deepest care;
Let Jesus solve your problem
Just go to Him in prayer.

Life’s days will soon be o’er,
All storms forever past;
We’ll cross the great divide
To glory safe at last.
We’ll share the joys of heav’n,
A harp, a home, a crown;
The tempter will be banished,
We’ll lay our burden down.

    Why does the Revival tarry? It is because God’s
    people tarry to obey the very powerful command
    of the Lord, in Rev. 18:4.
    The most powerful revival message
    of the Lord to his people in our time
